Stuart completes charity trip

Last saturday, at 12 noon, Stuart Boreham and James Booth arrived at Land's End, 5 and a half days after leaving John O'Groats. After 874 miles (the stated distance between these two points!!), through mountain pass and Cornish Lane, James drove the Rococo Chocolates Piaggio Ape three wheel delivery van up to the official sign at Land's End. With a 50cc engine and a top speed of around 25mph (38mph, once, going down hill!!) it was a bit of a bone-shaker journey. The three charities, Treloar Trust, Sense and Water Aid, were well publicised and supported and it looks like a tidy sum will be raised for each. Hurrah!
About Stuart

Stuart was born in Stornoway, in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland, in May 1966.
As a child, it was soon apparent that he had difficulties with his legs - cerebral palsy had left him spastic in his lower limbs.
But what he has lacked in strength in his legs he has made up for in willpower to succeed.
