Stuart addresses business professionals
Stuart recently gave a presentation on 'staying afloat in turbulent times' at a networking event for invited guests of Monahans - Integrated Financial Support. Stuart reflected on his experiences rowing the Atlantic ocean - unexpected setbacks, pitfalls, equipment failures etc and related these to the parallel experiences he has had establishing a new business in the middle of a recession. Following the successful evening, the assembled guests mingled over canapes and wine and were able to question Stuart directly about his experiences and 'what's next?'. Watch this space..........
About Stuart
Stuart was born in Stornoway, in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland, in May 1966.
As a child, it was soon apparent that he had difficulties with his legs - cerebral palsy had left him spastic in his lower limbs.
But what he has lacked in strength in his legs he has made up for in willpower to succeed.

In 2004 he became the first physically disabled person to row an ocean anywhere in the world, covering a staggering 3,341 miles, alone, in 109 days, rowing across the Atlantic from the Canaries to Barbados.
